WWE: 3 Reasons Finn Balor’s Balor Club Should Form
2. Character Depth for Finn Balor
When Finn Balor initiated his first program with Seth Rollins, he brought out his demon attire for the first time on Monday Night Raw. Fans anticipated this moment for months as Balor was duking it out on the main roster. Within that program with Rollins, we got to see Balor take out his demon on Seth. We got to see the novelty of the face point. However, what else does Balor give us beyond that?
In the short time he was on the roster, we never truly got to understand who ‘Demon’ Balor is. Whenever it did come out, it still felt like Fergal Devitt was wearing paint because it looked cool. With a fiery theme song to aid him, Balor still felt like a man whose only tool was his face paint to wow the audience. Balor’s character still does not have layers. No depth to show us who he really is.
Given he was only on the main roster for a short while, Balor Club will add another world to his character. Balor’s demon gimmick was never fully utilized which presented itself as the only facet of the man.
By forming a new faction with familiar friends, fans will get to see who Finn Balor really is and present more reasons to hopefully get behind this demon.
