Triple H is getting in ridiculously phenomenal shape for a potential match at WrestleMania 33.

Since August 2016, it has looked like Triple H vs. Seth Rollins would be set for WrestleMania 33. It saw the mentor cost his protegé a WWE Universal Championship reign, handing the belt over to Kevin Owens in the process. This is the break off feud from the Authority that seemed destined to happen the moment Rollins joined the defunct group in June 2014.

On an episode of WWE Raw, these plans seemed to come crashing down. Samoa Joe made his debut on January 30, attacking Rollins as a favor for Triple H. However, when Joe went to the ground for the Coquina Clutch, the Architect’s leg awkwardly came down and ended up tearing his MCL. It seemed to put the WrestleMania 33 match in doubt, until the Wrestling Observer reported that Rollins may be “good” for the Show of Shows.

In light of this, the Game is preparing for his next “game”. He posted a photo of himself on Twitter getting shredded, potentially for the unannounced-but-likely-to-happen match with Rollins, who is appearing on Monday’s Raw to give an injury update.

Rollins vs. Triple H would take on one of the top spots on the ‘Mania match card, which only has Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar confirmed. Other matches may include Bray Wyatt vs. the winner of AJ Styles vs. Luke Harper (and Randy Orton), if Owens and Chris Jericho go another step further in their feud, and something building off the tension between the duos of John Cena and Nikki Bella, and the Miz and Maryse.

We should find out more during Raw on the status of Rollins at WrestleMania. If he gives an indication that he’ll be back, then this match that’s been two-plus years in the making will be good to go. If not, then it’s back to the drawing board.
