Jack Gallagher & TJ Perkins vs. Tony Nese & Neville

Result: Jack Gallagher & TJ Perkins defeated Tony Nese & Neville via submission

Rating: 2.0 out of 5 stars

More typical Raw cruiserweight action in this one. Very little favors done for any competitor, way too short of a match, and a crowd who could care less.

It’s sad, because there are no fewer than three talented men in the ring in this match. (Okay, okay, they’re all talented.) But with all the down time needed to re-do the ring, the match time suffers, and there’s no time to get anything going.

All that really happened in this one was Neville and Nese didn’t get along, and Gallagher seemed to possibly intimidate Neville. That’s it.

Beth Phoenix Entering Hall of Fame

While it’s nice to see the Glamazon headed into the Hall of Fame, it’s a shame that it basically guarantees no induction for Chyna. I doubt WWE would put two women who were so similar in style in the Hall in the same year.

But Phoenix is a worthy inductee. Multiple time Womans/Divas Champion, Royal Rumble entrant – the list goes on and on.

Sahsa and Bayley Lick Their Wounds

If a Sasha Banks heel turn was being telegraphed any more, she’d already be hitting Bayleyuh. I know Stephanie just gave her a match against Nia Jax at Fastlane, but to me that’s just more fuel for the turn – Sasha is “suffering” because of her friendship with Bayley.
