Nia Jax & Charlotte Flair (w/ Dana Brooke) vs. Sasha Banks & Bayley

Result: Nia Jax & Charlotte Flair defeated Sasha Banks & Bayley via pinfall

Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars

Now we get to the frustrating part of the Women’s Division: as bad as the non wrestling stuff is, the wrestling stuff is that good. Nia is the de facto weak link here, but she’s more than capable of holding her own in a match like this.

The Sasha/Charlotte spots are the clear cream of the crop. The chemistry between them is off the charts. There really weren’t any weak spots overall, and Bayley and Sasha even showed some impressive teamwork.

Now, the negative: “[INSERT NAME HERE] HAS PINNED THE [INSERT TITLE HERE] CHAMPION” rears its ugly head.

I’m guessing the point is to set up a future Nia Jax challenge for the Women’s Title. Okay, I’ll buy that. But six days before a pay per view, you have a champion get pinned by someone not even in the match? Who came up with that decision? Why not let Sasha take the pin if the bad guys must win?

It was pretty awesome to see Nia just running roughshod over both Sasha and Bayley, though. She’s not like most girls, you know. Having all different types of competitors is always a good thing, so why not have the same thing in the women’s division?

Braun Strowman Has Demands

Sometimes I think Braun is the only character who understands that wrestling is a business, with accepted rules and practices. All he wants is to make his Fastlane match officially official with a contract. It seems perfectly reasonable.
