2 Out of 3 Falls Match
Becky Lynch vs Mickie James

Result: Becky Lynch wins the third fall via submission (2-1 victory)

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

To attempt and settle the score, Becky Lynch and Mickie James competed in a two out of three falls match. Things stayed at an even pace at the beginning of the contest, but it wasn’t long before James hit her DDT finisher for the first fall. A commercial break interrupts the action, and when we return James is in solid control of the match. Despite her attempt at a comeback being halted, Lynch managed to secure a quick surprise pin to tie up the score.

Back even yet again, both women fought desperately to achieve the third and final fall. Towards the closing moments, it seemed as though James was going to achieve the victory. SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss tried to influence the outcome for her friend, however, her interference was for naught. Managing to counter a pin attempt by James, Lynch would lock in the DisArmHer for the submission victory.

Once Lynch is done celebrating her win, the cameras cut to the backstage area. Luke Harper is once again present; delivering one of his eerie promos addressed to his former brother Bray Wyatt. This draws a response from the WWE Champion, who hypes his appearance alongside Randy Orton later on in the show.

Alexa Bliss is the next one scheduled for an interview, and she is asked why she chose to interfere in the last match. That question is never answered, as Bliss had to focus her attention on Natalya. The Queen of Harts makes it clear she has her eyes set on the title, heightening tensions between the two women.
