Result: The Hardys def. Ecktourage via pinfall to win the National Tag Team Championship
The Hardys arrive at flea market and continue their travel to procure the next Tag Team Championships. The original number one contenders are tazed by Senor Benjamin and that opens up a spot for the Hardys. They face the Ecktourage for the National Tag Team Championships of the world.
This was a match that was predicted to be against the Hardys in the numbers advantage. Plenty of outside involvement seemed to signal the end of the Expedition of Gold. Jeff Hardy another tag team on the roster inside the flea market. The team fleas after Benjamin and Jeff Hardy bring out the fireworks. Matt Hardy is left in the ring in what can be called a handicap match as Jeff deals with the other team. The Ecktourage controls the match until Jeff finds his way back to the ring and the Hardys take control. Matt and Jeff hit the Extreme Combination to gain yet another tag team championship.
I love the Expedition of Gold has been amazing and continues to take the Broken persona in ways that were never imagined. From the news that was revealed earlier this week, it seems like it may end a little sooner than expected but I will enjoy it while it lasts. This also brings up the question of how the next champions will be crowned.
