Best: The Cruiserweights and 205 Live seem primed to breakout in a big way.

While the finish to the Kickoff Show match was a bit troubling, it was still a good match. They didn’t have the crowd early, but they hooked them, and they had them late. Most Cruiserweight matches on Raw and PPV haven’t even been able to do that.

Then, on the PPV, the Cruiserweight Championship Match was awesome. Neville and Jack Gallagher put on a great match. The spot where Gallagher rebounded off the ropes and gave Neville a headbutt was my spot of the night.

This was the best night the Cruiserweights have had in a while, probably since joining the main roster. Building up credibility like this is what’s going to make sure these guys are consistently over from town-to-town, night-to-night. That’s what makes 205 Live better. That’s what drives people to the WWE Network.

It’s a chain reaction that makes WWE as a whole better. They chipped away for months, and now these guys are finally reaching the level they need to. They’re not completely there yet, but Fastlane was a good indicator that the time is near.
