4. Goldberg is Still in Terrific Shape

Despite being in his fifties, it appears that Goldberg’s physique is just as impressive now as ever before. No doubt this is due to the insane workout regiment and diet he maintains to this day. Staying in shape has always seemed to be an easy thing for Goldberg to achieve, and this stems all the way back to his days playing professional football. No doubt the training he partook playing that sport served him well when he started his wrestling career.

Come WrestleMania, a big question that is on the table deals with how Goldberg will handle bumping in the ring. Thus far he has been able to work short matches where the only requirement was to provide short bursts of offense. Since he’ll likely be competing in the main event, it’s hard to believe that his current pattern will suffice on the grand stage.

While he was never on the receiving end of a great deal of punishment during his career, years of wear and tear have probably caught up with the Universal Champion. Hence it’s great that Goldberg is in such terrific shape, as it will greatly enhance his productivity in the ring. The time might have passed for him to participate in his first ironman match, but he is certainly capable of taking part in an actual contest.

Once the doors to Suplex City open up at WrestleMania, we will learn just tough and resilient Goldberg is. Judging off of his past performances, it’s safe to assume that he will be more than capable of handling Lesnar’s offense. Their match is going to go down as one of the most physical encounters in the history of WrestleMania, and I doubt these two driven athletes would have it any other way.
