4 Predictions for WWE SmackDown Live: March 7, 2017

John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. James Ellsworth & Carmella

After one of the more interesting segments on SmackDown last week, James Ellsworth will, at last, see himself in in-ring action. Ellsworth and Carmella confronted John Cena and Nikki Bella as they were getting interviewed backstage. Ellsworth would call the two ‘phonies,’ which did not sit well with the power couple. Cena and Bella would then challenge the two and here we are. Carmella is the main reason for the match-up occurring, as she has Ellsworth wrapped around her pretty little finger.

Regardless, it is an anticipated match this week. It should be fairly comical seeing Ellsworth stand next to the behemoth that is Cena. Carmella and Bella have recent history as well, feuding for a few months leading up to Survivor Series in 2016. Ellsworth may have an opportunity to pull out another victory this week with Carmella by his side. It is likely that the Miz and Maryse will interfere in some way. Don’t be surprised to see them sit at ringside for the action.
