An Angry Lunatic Fringe

Backstage, we see Renee Young conducting an interview with Randy Orton. The Viper addressed his actions last week before going on to say he will face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania. He tells AJ Styles that all it takes is just RKO, and he’ll be defeating the Phenomenal One here tonight.

Up next is Curt Hawkins, and the brash superstar has decided to call out Dean Ambrose. The Lunatic Fringe responds to the challenge and swiftly levels Hawkins on the outside of the ring. Turning his attention to Baron Corbin, Ambrose is eventually able to get the Lone Wolf to appear on the Titantron. Similar to their previous altercation, the two trade words and hint at a major encounter down the line. Only this time, Ambrose isn’t content waiting and decides to search for Corbin in the backstage area, but not before attacking Hawkins once more.

The backstage cameras go on to show Ambrose a few times searching the arena, however after awhile they start getting on with the show. Mojo Rawley makes an appearance, and tonight he makes a big announcement in an interview. Stating that he will be entering the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, his announcement is quickly met with criticism by Dolph Ziggler. Warning the rookie not to get hurt reaching for the brass ring, the Showoff leaves, foreshadowing a potential match between the two.

Focusing now on Ambrose’s search for Corbin, the two finally come face to face backstage. Corbin comes out of nowhere with a steel pipe and assaults Ambrose, finishing the attack by trapping the Intercontinental Champion under a forklift. As the Lone Wolf leaves the scene, medical staff are on hand to tend to Ambrose.
