John Cena vs. Randy Orton: End of an Era

John Cena and Randy Orton are arguably the two biggest stars of their generation. Both men made their respective debuts back in 2002. Orton being a third generation superstar was destined for a hall of fame career in WWE. Cena has been running the show for the better part of the past decade. He and Orton have met plenty of times throughout their illustrious careers, almost to the point of it being repetitive. Fans often wondered when the next Cena-Orton encounter would happen.

Being the heel in their rivalries, Orton has had the edge over Cena throughout the years, though a large portion of their matches did not end purely. Perhaps, I spoke too soon a few slides ago. Cena winning his record breaking 17th WWE Championship against someone like Orton is a huge main event for the show of shows. These two have not yet met on the Wrestlemania stage, so it makes sense for the future. This matched could be built as an End of an Era match between the two biggest stars of their generation.
