5. Roman Reigns is the Future Face of the WWE

In all fairness, it wouldn’t be wrong to refer to Reigns as the face of the WWE now. However, he is still in a state of transition. The face of the WWE does not just wrestle well in the ring. He would also attend press meets and TV shows much like what John Cena does. Reigns would certainly be the unquestionable face of the WWE in the not so distant future.

He would one day be what Hulk Hogan or Rock or Cena meant (means) to the WWE universe. A case can be made for fans rejecting him throughout his singles run. However, being chosen to be the face of the biggest pro wrestling company in the world comes with many trials. For one, he would have to be well-connected and influential in the WWE universe. This does not pertain to his connection with the audience alone. Roman Reigns has 2.17 Million followers on Twitter.

Everything he does and says there creates engagement. It sparks engagement for the WWE as a whole. Secondly, Reigns could be attributed to longevity. He has not sustained any serious injuries that could potentially cut his career short so far. Compare Reigns to other new era favorites like Seth Rollins or Finn Balor. Both of them are on the sidelines at the moment. Both of them had to spend time in rehab while Reigns has been at it except for a few minor injuries and a four-month hiatus in 2014.

Even legends in the world of Wrestling like Kurt Angle believes Reigns would eventually win over the crowd at some point in time. He had a lot of good things to say about Reigns during an interview with ‘The Statement Show’ podcast. With all this, there is no reason to logically deny that Reigns is not the future face of the WWE. As such, he would potentially be the second person in history to defeat the Undertaker at WrestleMania.
