3. Good Triumphs Over Evil

It’s a story as old as time itself: good is better than evil. Even if it doesn’t seem particularly likely, in the end evil falls because good will find a way. It’s a basic tenet of every religion, every basic life philosophy, and just about every story and fable ever told.

Based off recent events, is there any doubt who is “good” and who is “evil” in this rivalry?

You could make the argument that neither man is particularly good, but it’s all relative. If we compare Chris Jericho to Kevin Owens, there’s hardly anyone who would argue that Jericho is more evil than KO. Any doubt that may have existed in that comparison was erased the moment the Festival of Friendship ended. When two best friends are celebrating, and one of those friends throws the other one through a television, he’s the evil one.

And with WrestleMania being the unofficial “end point” of the most important stories and feuds in WWE, what better time is there for Owens to get his comeuppance? If there was ever a time for a story to reach a final chapter, it’s WrestleMania. This story that has spanned several months needs to have a definitive ending. One man needs to walk out of WrestleMania a winner, and have nothing to do with the other again (a-gayn?).

For good storytelling purposes, and to hold up society’s moral code, Chris Jericho needs to defeat Kevin Owens at WrestleMania.
