Raw Women’s Division
Highlights of the Division
Bayley hasn’t looked good since winning the championship from Charlotte last month. She’s either lost cleanly or won her matches with Sasha Banks’ help. The champion has been booked like a lame duck champion which is a far cry when she dominated her competition as the women’s champion on NXT.
Nia Jax should be women’s champion on Raw. She’s defeated all her completion except for Charlotte and has been booked to be the unstoppable beast of the division. Having her destroy Bayley is one way of showing the world that nobody can stop you from claiming the crown.
Sasha Banks will need to have a deeper motivation for reclaiming the championship. Having her as a one-dimensional best friend to Bayley is too predictable. She will need to plant the seeds for dissension between the two for their upcoming title match. Sasha has always been “the Boss” and needs to start acting like one.
Charlotte getting owned by her former protegé Dana Brooke is probably the best thing that ever happened to her. Charlotte needs to show everyone that she doesn’t need help from anybody, especially Dana Brooke.
Dana Brooke becoming a babyface after attacking Charlotte is refreshing for her stale character. She’ll need to convince the WWE Universe that she can make some noise in the division by going after Charlotte.
