The Raw Tag Team Division

Highlights of the Division

This has been one of the weakest divisions in the WWE. Only one team has dominated since capturing the championships back at the Royal Rumble, and they are Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. These two members of The Club has run roughshod in this shallow division by defeating both their WrestleMania 33 challengers at both the Royal Rumble and Fastlane.

Enzo and Big Cass have looked good on the mic but that hasn’t translated to quality wins. They have been hovering around a .500 win/loss record since the start of the year. They’ll need to capture the tag titles at WrestleMania 33 to validate themselves as the top tag team in the WWE.

Cesaro and Sheamus will need to get quality wins before their title match at WrestleMania 33. They have only won one match as a team since the beginning of this year. So they are stuck in a catch 22 situation: either they make one more run for the titles or go their separate ways.

The New Day are the true No. 1 contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championships but yet they are hosting WrestleMania 33? In the wise words of the Hurricane: “What’s up with that?”
