Highlights of the Division

Kevin Owens is the true No. 1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship because he hasn’t used his rematch clause yet. He’ll probably be the first man on Raw to simultaneously capture both the Universal and United States Championships by the time WrestleMania 33 comes and goes.

Roman Reigns looked impressive in his match against Jinder Mahal. He’ll need to defeat Braun Strowman next week to convince everyone that he’s the man to defeat the Undertaker at WrestleMania 33.

Seth Rollins will need to heal up in order to dethrone the King of Kings at WrestleMania 33. That huge win will catapult him to title contention for the Universal Championship.

Brock Lesnar doesn’t deserve or warrant a title shot against the current champion Goldberg. His name brand and mystique are the only reason he’s hovering around the main event scene of Raw. He’ll need to defeat Goldberg in order to validate his top spot on the brand.

Goldberg will need to address and exact revenge on Brock Lesnar after what happened the other week. He’ll need to assert his dominance and show the WWE Universe that he’s the favorite to walk out WrestleMania 33 as champion.

WWE Universal Champion: Goldberg (1 Win – 1 Loss)

Contenders

  • Contender No. 1: Kevin Owens (6 Wins – 2 Losses)
  • Contender No. 2: Roman Reigns (5 Wins – 6 Losses)

Pretenders

  • Pretender No. 1: Brock Lesnar (0 Wins – 1 Loss)
  • Pretender No. 2: Seth Rollins (1 Win – 2 Losses)
