Alberto El Patron vs Ethan Carter III

Result: El Patron def. Carter via submission

The emotions are still boiling from the fight and this match starts just like a brawl.  Carter feels disrespected by El Patron’s entitlement and will not stand for it.  El Patron targets Ethan Carter’s arm as he looks to set up the cross armbreaker as the match goes back and forth.  EC3 uses the announce table continue his attack on the upper body of El Patron.  There is no clear advantage for either man and it became difficult to predict.  Carter looks like he has El Patron down for the count but wastes valuable time.  Alberto El Patron locks in cross armbreaker and forces EC3 to tap out for the first time ever.

This rivalry is already volatile and it just started.  Both men are intent on not only beating each other but getting themselves a World Championship match in the future.  The booking has been perfect because they are at a similar level.  Both are multiple time World Champions who are trying to get another run at the dominant Lashley.  There is still plenty of time for Ethan Carter to make another run at the championship but they should run with El Patron’s momentum.
