One of WWE’s biggest rivalries heading into WrestleMania 33 is between Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens. Here’s why KO should leave Orlando victorious.

Kevin Owens is a very bad man. There’s no need to mince words here. When you take your supposed best friend and throw him through a television, you are a very bad man.

And that’s exactly what Owens did to Chris Jericho just over a month ago. During a “Festival of Friendship,” KO repaid Jericho for all the gifts he gave him by brutally assaulting him. Of course, Jericho did agree to Goldberg’s challenge for a Universal Championship match on KO’s behalf.

Jericho’s surprise return at WWE Fastlane just prior to the Owens/Goldberg title match ended up costing Owens the championship. When Jericho issued a challenge to KO the next night on Raw, Owens demanded it be for the United States Championship. He wants the opportunity to take a title away from Jericho, the same way Jericho took one from him.

With the match set for WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, There’s plenty of argument to be made for both superstars leaving with the United States Championship. In fact, just last week I laid out the case for Y2J retaining the title. I guess the reason this year’s WrestleMania is called “The Ultimate Thrill Ride” is because of this match – you really don’t know how it’s going to go.

This match is very even; no one superstar has a clear cut advantage. The driving force behind this one is revenge, as each man wants payback on the other. When emotions get involved like they have in this one, there’s really no telling what’s going to happen.
