Rebel vs ODB

Result: ODB def. Rebel via pinfall

Two returns in one match as Rebel comes back from maternity leave and ODB from a leave of absence.  ODB had returned at Total Nonstop Deletion and now seems like she is fully back.  Rebel attacks from behind to start the match and gains control.  After the missed crossbody, ODB has some liquid feud to mount a comeback.  She hits a bronco buster but Rebel is not laying down.  Earl Hebner got all the kisses in this match and ODB defeats Rebel with a TKO.

It was nice to see ODB back in the Impact Zone and she is back to her old shenanigans.  Earl Hebner is the greatest of all time and gets the most action than any referee in the history of wrestling.  This match was just a fun match and shouldn’t be taken too seriously.  It was ODB being ODB with all her tomfoolery.

Lashley vs Jake Holmes

Result: Lashley def. Holmes via destruction (pinfall)

For the first time in a long time, Lashley is in what can be called a jobber match.  I have never heard of Jake Holmes and I can assume that Holmes won’t be seen for a while after this match.  Lashley takes control early whether it be inside or outside of the ring.  Holmes has no chance but to give him some hope he tries to run out of the ring.  He is caught by Lashley and speared out of his boots to continue his dominant reign.

It’s about time that the World Champion received a jobber to beat up.  Lashley continues to prove why he is the most credible World Champion in professional wrestling.  He can do it all although he didn’t need to show it in this match.  It was over before it ever became and he is preparing for another showdown with Alberto El Patron.
