2. Luke Harper

Luke Harper put on an excellent match with AJ Styles several weeks back and it’s a crime that Smackdown hasn’t capitalized on the former Wyatt Family member.  That can change with the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.  It gives Harper the jumpstart he needs in addition to launching him for a successful singles run this time around.

The interesting thing with Harper is that he could go several directions post-WrestleMania.  The door is open for him to possibly feud with Bray Wyatt this summer, as there wasn’t much concentration on his turn against his former leader.  With Erick Rowan set to return, there is the possibility of them embarking on a tag team run once more.  But perhaps it’s time for Harper to fly out on his own now for good now that the Wyatt Family has fallen apart.  And that’s where the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal comes into play.

Harper is already a one-time Intercontinental Champion, winning back in 2014.  Winning the Battle Royal not only adds to his singles run but gives him more opportunities in the coming months.  Again, in addition to maybe feuding with Wyatt, he could challenge Dean Ambrose or Baron Corbin for the Intercontinental Championship.  When it comes to Harper the sky could be the limit for him.
