3. Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg Goes Beyond Three Minutes

In this era, the ideal WWE main event has usually lasted about 15-25 minutes. Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg has bucked that trend, though, with their 86-second match at Survivor Series 2016. Goldberg vs. Owens in 21 seconds at Fastlane only continued that trend.

So at WrestleMania 33, we’re back to the Survivor Series pairing, except for the WWE Universal Championship being on the line. It sets up the question of, if this will last 86 seconds again?

With the way the former WCW star has wrestled, it may be less than their first time length, if anything. WWE may want to pack a bigger punch in a smaller dose, so they’ll let Lesnar and Goldberg destroy each other for two minutes. Then one or two F-5’s are hit and we’ll have a new champion.

This match going beyond 86 seconds, let alone three full minutes, seems difficult to believe. Maybe Goldberg will shock us all and provide a longer in-ring stay, but if WWE has liked what they’ve seen from him in these short bursts, then why not go back to it?
