4. The Miz and Maryse

Half of the reason this list exists, the Hollywood couple, comes in at number four, heading into their Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 33.

The Miz and Maryse have been a bright spot on SmackDown since the Draft, with their partnership being the best heel act on the show, as they’ve actually been booed, unlike some other “top heels” in WWE.

Miz has always had the ability to get true heat. His promos draw the ire of the fans and his antics drive them mad. Adding his wife in 2016 has just been the perfect icing on the cake.

Maryse has been involving herself in Miz’s matches. She’s helped him win titles and she’s prevented him from losing them. It’s garnered him even more heat, and allowed him to improve other parts of his game.

What has been particularly refreshing about their act is the lack of cheers Maryse receives. Wrestling fans tend to cheer attractive women, no matter what those women do or stay (see: Lana). Maryse has stopped that from happening, and it’s made her addition to Miz that much better.
