Adding a Much-Needed Stipulation to the Match Between Shane McMahon and AJ Styles
Despite what outside critics may think, the match between Shane McMahon and AJ Styles will not disappoint.
Styles is the best wrestlers in the business. One of the reasons why Styles earns the billing as the “Phenomenal One” is because of his ability to construct excellent matches and work with any opponent. That will be the case once more when Styles faces McMahon on Sunday at WrestleMania 33.
The creative team has done an excellent job at building the feud between Styles and McMahon. Styles, the former WWE champion, feels slighted by McMahon because of the various hurdles that SmackDown Live’s management team has made the former champion jump through.

After the two exchanged attacks on one another during the past two weeks on SmackDown Live, expect Styles and McMahon to exchange promos on Tuesday night. In an effort to make the match have a purpose, McMahon will add a stipulation to the match. The stipulation will be that if Styles loses, he is no longer a part of SmackDown Live’s roster. If Styles wins, then McMahon will step down as SmackDown Live’s commissioner.
Unlike his sister, Shane McMahon allows talents to air out their grievances. However, there needs to a solid conclusion to McMahon’s program with Styles. There needs to be a call to action. The stipulation of loser leaves SmackDown Live is the perfect call to action for this match.
