2. Goldberg Makes It 3-0

As many fans of professional wrestling say, there is no such thing as “never” in this profession. Things that were considered set in stone in the past have at times taken a whole new direction. The Undertaker’s undefeated streak is a huge example of this, as are other moments where fans believed one outcome was “never” in doubt. Many of these recent moments have involved Brock Lesnar, and that is a trend that could continue at WrestleMania.

Having already proven the masses wrong when he returned to dethrone Lesnar, Goldberg is capable of surprising fans again. He’s shown that he still has gas left in the tank, and legions of fans are solidly behind him. WWE could sense a very lucrative future with Goldberg at the helm, meaning that his Universal Championship run may go longer.

The run he’s been on as of late is impressive, to say the least, and quick and decisive matches aren’t a common thing in today’s landscape. Goldberg is the exact opposite of the lightning-fast pace we have come to expect from wrestling matches. This makes him a unique attraction, similar to Brock Lesnar.

The only difference between the two is Goldberg has never really had an opponent who has had his number. That may change Sunday, but in this scenario let’s suppose his current formula brings him success yet again. Spear, Jackhammer, and another short yet emphatic victory. On a stage such as WrestleMania, the shock value of another victory over Lesnar could be worth the publicity alone. Many major sports media outlets would be talking about the result almost immediately thereafter, which is exactly what WWE wants to see happen. Because of this, don’t be surprised if Goldberg yet again stands tall over the Beast.
