WWE United States Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens

Kudos to Chris Jericho for managing to reinvent himself time and time again. He has proven himself to be one of the most useful and versatile wrestlers in WWE, capable of doing anything and everything and still getting a good reaction out of it.

That said, Jericho isn’t in WWE’s long-term future and Kevin Owens is.

This feud has been probably the best thing on Raw for months. The oddball pairing between Owens and Jericho has been hilarious and well-executed, with Owens’ betrayal being especially well done. But this is one conclusion Jericho cannot talk his way out of. WWE needs to rebuild Owens as much as possible, especially after getting destroyed 21 seconds by Goldberg.

Owens is most likely to win, because it’s the only conclusion that makes sense. Jericho has not defended his U.S. title in over a month, and Owens is the bigger star at this time.
