Back to the ring, The Miz and Maryse are here to present the third and final installment of their comedy sketch. The video is similar to the two from last week, with Miz playing John Cena and Maryse acting as the Bellas. Humorous to a degree, the video ended when “Cena” refused a proposal from Nikki, furthering the belief that he doesn’t truly love her.
Abandoning the comedy for a moment, Miz and Maryse turn their attention to the real power couple. In Miz’s opinion, Cena is a superstar who is reaching the end of his career. Claiming the road ends when their WWE tenure is up, he states that Cena and Nikki are nothing. Maryse joins in on the barrage as well, issuing insults towards Nikki before embracing her husband.
Not to be outdone, Cena and Nikki arrive and begin a verbal tirade on Miz and Maryse. Telling Miz that his comedy routine was funny, he points out the Awesome One is boring again now that it’s over. He then switches his focus to Maryse, stating that she is overrated and a total waste of space. Cena credits Miz for begging management to hire Maryse in the first place, because everyone knows she was a terrible wrestler. To top it all off, Cena suggests that Miz has been shooting blanks seeing as how he has no kids.
The tension reaches a fever pitch as the two couples seemed to be destined to come to blow. Sadly that didn’t happen, as Miz and Maryse chose to flee once again. Nikki took the microphone and closed out the segment comparing her current rivals to haters. This allowed the segment to end with Cena and Nikki standing tall inside the squared circle.
