The SmackDown Women’s Championship match needs some extra names in it to be more memorable at WrestleMania 33.

At WrestleMania 33, Alexa Bliss is scheduled to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship in a multi-woman match. So far, neither the match stipulation nor the full list of participants has been announced. The likely scenario at WrestleMania will be that Bliss will be defending it in either a battle royal or a multi-woman match where the first woman to score a decision wins the belt.

WWE’s building up this match as one that’ll be full of mysteries. They’ve been suggesting that Alexa Bliss won’t just have to deal with her fellow SmackDown superstars. There will also be some surprise entrants that will be making a one-time appearance for this WrestleMania match.

This is a great way to build-up the title. By having alumni come back to challenge for it, it suggests that the belt has more value and prestige. With the RAW Women’s Championship having so much more attention in general from the WWE fanbase, its SmackDown equivalent needs all the attention it can get to prove it’s just as prestigious.

Rumors are already circulating over some one-time appearances for this match at WrestleMania. Kelly Kelly is believed to be one alumna that’ll be showing up for it. That’s a good start; despite not being on the same level of wrestling experience as some other alumni, she’d be a nice addition because of her past work with WWE.

But to really bring in some more attention, the SmackDown Women’s Championship match needs some other big names as well. Here are three names they absolutely must include in it for it to be considered the dig deal it really is.
