Goldberg (c) vs Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman

I know this will most likely close the show but we may not see either of these men for a while after this match and WrestleMania shouldn’t end like that. Obviously, the argument is that Brock or Goldberg walking out champions would add credibility to the new title.

That being said, it worked with Brock when it was the WWE World Heavyweight Championship but did that title really need Lesnar to put it over? No, it didn’t. The title was already established and I think a long period of absence without the Universal Title will do more harm than good for the title. When it comes to the match itself, it’s been 11 years in the making from their first meeting at WrestleMania 20.

Bray Wyatt (c) vs Randy Orton

Again, this will most likely be in the co-main event but I would put this in the main event for many reasons. The first of these reasons is that Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble. They did make an emphasis on saying that the winner would get a world championship match at WrestleMania and not the main event but tradition is tradition.

Another reason this is close the show is the end scene to close the show. Would either Lesnar and Goldberg make for a good end scene? Probably not, especially with Lesnar being so emotionless. Regardless of who wins the iconic Orton pose or Wyatt’s “Follow the Buzzards’ kneel down will be a great cut scene as the screen fades to black.
