Another condition saw that Triple H’s best friend Shawn Michaels would serve as the special guest referee. People had doubts that Michaels would call the match down the middle as he was Triple H’s best friend and due to the fact of the history, HBK had with The Undertaker trying to end the streak.

When the Hell in a Cell dropped, there was nothing but carnage and destruction with both men trying to win the match at all costs. Michaels kept his promise  of being impartial for a big chunk of the match until out of nowhere he hit Undertaker with the Sweet Chin Music then allowing, allowing his friend to hit the Pedigree.

Despite taking two finishers in a row, Undertaker was able to kick out and continue on with the match. The Undertaker would then unleash a furry of offense onto Triple H. Knowing he had no chance on winning the Game did a final crotch chop and then The Undertaker hit the tombstone to win the match going to 20-0 at WrestleMania.
