What Time Does WWE Hall of Fame 2017 Ceremony Start?
What time should fans be ready for some of their favorites to be immortalized in the WWE Hall of Fame?
The 2017 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony switches nights this year. After years of being the night before WrestleMania, this year starts a new tradition of it being the Friday before, with NXT TakeOver taking over the Hall of Fame’s old spot on Saturday.
The Hall of Fame Ceremony is an annual spectacle where WWE puts stars of the past on display and honors them for their career achievements. There’s also a celebrity wing. Everybody from Hulk Hogan to Sting to Koko B. Ware to Drew Carey has a spot at the Hall of Fame. Even United States President Donald Trump has been inducted.
This year, the headlining inductee is Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. Angle is making his first WWE appearance in years, so he is sure to receive a massive reaction. He will be inducted by John Cena.
Byron Saxton and Maria Menounos will be hosting the Red Carpet Special beforehand. Menounos has done a good job with this special the past two years, and she is sure to do it again, interviewing many Superstars and Legends as they find their seats for the ceremony.
Be sure to tune in early. I get the feeling WWE is going to try to engage fans early with a fan-favorite, kicking things off with a “BANG!” with Diamond Dallas Page.
Other inductees include Beth Phoenix, Rick Rude and The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express. With the most interesting inductor being Jim Cornette, who is inducting RNR. He’ll likely stay professional, out of respect to RNR, but there’s always a chance he goes off the rails.

Despite the change in nights, the Hall of Fame will still have an 8 pm EST start time, with a 7 pm EST Red Carpet Special. You can catch it all on the WWE Network on Friday, March 31.
