3.  No Dream Matches

There are no true dream matches or first-time encounters or once-in-a-lifetime matches at this year’s WrestleMania. The one dream match that everyone, regardless of opinion, wanted to see happen, and that was John Cena vs. the Undertaker.

But for some strange reason, Vince McMahon canned that idea, leaving Cena stuck in a feud with the Miz (that Miz won’t win), while ‘Taker’s stuck fighting Roman Reigns (more on that later).

An argument could be made that there’s a dream match in Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar. However, that dream feud has been overdone so much already. Goldberg decimated Lesnar in 86 seconds at Survivor Series 2016, and in most of their confrontations since then, Goldberg managed to gain the upper hand.

Even if Lesnar F-5’ed Goldberg in their most recent encounter, that doesn’t convey the same message. Lesnar has done that to many people, but only two people have fallen to Goldberg in such a quick manner.

That match isn’t likely to be very entertaining, as WWE are going to try and conceal Goldberg’s obvious limitations as much as possible.

The rest of the card doesn’t feel very ‘dream-match-like’. Most of the other matches on the card feel thrown-together, with very few having any long-term build. Because of all this, many fans might end up disappointed with the quality (or lack thereof) of matches they’ll be seeing at WrestleMania.
