2. It Will Be a Very Long Show

Consider just how much wrestling there is scheduled between Monday, March 27, 2017, and WrestleMania 33.

In that six-day period, there is: Monday Night RAW (3 hours), SmackDown Live (2 hours), 205 Live (1 hour), NXT on Wednesday (1 hour), various other wrestling shows scattered throughout the week in the Orlando area, NXT TakeOver: Orlando (2-3 hours), the WWE Hall of Fame Induction ceremony (could go up to 4 hours or more), WrestleMania 33 (could go between six and seven hours), and then the RAW after WrestleMania (another 3 hours).

That’s almost a full twenty-four hours of wrestling in such a short timeframe. Fans will be simply exhausted from the sheer quantity of wrestling they’ll be exposed to during WrestleMania week. If the fans are exhausted, they won’t care as much about the matches, nor will they invest as much emotion into them.

With NXT TakeOver taking place on the Friday beforehand and the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony the following night, we could see another case of a relatively sedated crowd being forced to watch an unending marathon of wrestling mixed with bad live musical performances.
