Smackdown Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (c) vs Becky Lynch vs Natalya vs Mickie James vs Carmella vs Naomi
So we finally got some clarity on what type of match this is actually going to be. For weeks no one would say what gimmick these 6 women were going to battle for title over. We just had to wonder is this a championship scramble? A six-pack challenge? A Texas Tornado, falls count anywhere, TLC, blindfold, Punjabi Prison match? Well, it was finally announced that they’re going with the six-pack challenge so now I can finally decide who I think is going to win.
So this match is all about who the belt makes the most sense on following Wrestlemania 33. First off, as much as I like Alexa Bliss, her two title reigns have been a bit underwhelming. She doesn’t seem to be connecting with the WWE Universe, so she’ll be walking out of Mania without the title. Becky Lynch has had her run with the belt and it wasn’t all that great either. She’s not going over. Although Mickie James has been good since her return, I don’t see it happening yet. And Natalya will continue to be the most underutilized woman on the roster.
That leaves us with Naomi who just returned in time for Mania in her home town on Orlando, Florida. This just makes the most sense. So unless for some crazy reason, someone like Asuka shows up unannounced, Naomi will have her Wrestlemania moment in front of her fans.
