Welcome to the RAW Division Power Rankings after WrestleMania 33.

These are the power rankings for each division on Monday Night RAW for this following week. Each division would be ranked based on storyline progression and win/loss record as of 2017. Also each division would be divided by contenders and pretenders, to differentiate the challengers in their respective division. I’ll also highlight a specific superstar in each division and explain their ranking based on their actions. Win/Loss record is provided by CageMatch.Net.

Each superstar or tag team can move up or down the rankings based on victory, defeat or storyline progression. Let’s see how the rankings shape up this week.

The RAW Cruiserweight Division

Highlights of the Division

Neville has been heads and tails the best booked champion in the WWE today. He had a barn-burner match with Austin Aries at the WrestleMania Kickoff Show and walked out still the King of the Cruiserweights. He also once again dispatched Mustafa Ali in successful fashion on RAW to show the world that nobody has any chance of stopping his title reign.

Austin Aries was close to winning the Cruiserweight Championship at WrestleMania 33 but Neville raked his sight to the promise land. A-Double will have a second opportunity to get one last crack at the King of the Cruiserweights. Like from that classic line from HBO’s The Wire: “You come at the king, you best not miss”. Aries is the last shot for the division to dethrone the champion.

Mustafa Ali had a good showing on RAW facing off with Neville in a key match up for the Cruiserweight Division. The problem Ali has had is the crowd not reacting to him at all when he makes his entrance or when he performs in the ring. It’s very troubling to have a talented performer not receive any reaction from the fans and that’s something he’ll need to address, sooner rather than later.

TJ Perkins has clearly fell off since dropping the championship last year. His fellow competition like Brian Kendrick, Rich Swann and Jack Gallagher have been staying afloat at the top of the rankings while he’s crumbled to less competition like Tony Nese for example. Even newcomers like Akira Tozawa and Gran Metalik have been cruising by accumulating wins and that doesn’t bode well for TJ’s contender status.

These are the rankings for the division this week.
