Highlights of the Division

Brock Lesnar finally got the monkey off his back and beat Goldberg for the Universal Title at WrestleMania 33. The match only lasted less than 5 minutes but the Beast sent the former champion into retirement. Brock will have a crop full of potential challengers for his championship but he’s favoured to hold on to the gold for a long time.

Roman Reigns did the unthinkable and defeated the Undertaker at the main event of WrestleMania 33. The Big Dog finally secured his spot as the true number 1 contender for the Universal Championship. Paul Heyman called out his number on RAW so the question is if Reigns will answer the call and accept the challenge?

Finn Balor returning to RAW and pinning the United States Champion in the main event was a sight to behold. The Demon King will need to secure a few more quality wins to be considered a title challenger for the Universal title.

The real question is what’s next for the King Slayer Seth Rollins? Will he campaign for a shot at the Universal Title? Dish out some revenge against Samoa Joe or will Finn Balor address him and they concluded their rivalry?

Don’t be surprised if Kevin Owens demands his Universal title rematch and Samoa Joe might play a hand in those developments.

These are the rankings for the division this week.

WWE Universal Champion: Brock Lesnar (1 Win – 1 Loss)

Contenders

  • No. 1 Contender: Roman Reigns (6 Wins – 6 Losses)
  • Contender No. 2: Seth Rollins (2 Wins – 2 Losses)

Pretenders

  • Pretender No. 1: Finn Balor (1 Win – 0 Losses)
  • Pretender No. 2: Samoa Joe (5 Wins – 2 Losses)
