5. Dean Ambrose

When the initial Superstar Shake-Up (WWE Draft) took place last Summer Dean Ambrose was the second overall pick behind Seth Rollins. At the time Ambrose was the WWE Champion at the time and was arguably the most over Superstar in the company.

However, ever since dropping the title to AJ Styles at Backlash something has been missing from the lunatic fringe. He has since won the Intercontinental Championship from The Miz. The Miz made that title feel like it was THE title on SmackDown Live. Ambrose really hasn’t done much to pick up where The Miz has started and if anything has diminished the title. Ambrose teeters the line between lunatic and joker and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

Recently, it hasn’t and it negatively affecting him. The thing that may keep him on the blue brand is the fact that he is the Intercontinental Champion. A change of scene could do wonders for Ambrose. Additionally, a Shield reunion down the line with Rollins and Reigns would be absolute money.
