New WWE NXT Theme

We get a new intro for WWE NXT, along with new music and graphics. It’s representative of this “new era” they’re going through.

Aleister Black vs. Corey Hollis

Result: Aleister Black defeated Corey Hollis via pinfall.

Black’s entrance is one of the coolest things going in NXT right now. It has a mystique and catches the eye easily. To whoever created this — well done.

If you turned away for one second, you would have missed this match. Black stood there for about 15 seconds, before hitting Black Mass for the win. It looked devastating, as Hollis had his head kicked off.

Black quickly sat back down and looked like nothing happened. Commentary played up his poise as he placed himself in the middle of the ring, not moving a muscle.

The former Tommy End looking this dominant is fantastic, and should only lead to his build up to an eventual feud. That may not be for a few weeks, which is fine, as it lets a slow build take place.

Tye Dillinger Interview

Dillinger is interviewed about being on SmackDown Live. He says he has unfinished business in WWE NXT, so he’ll face Eric Young in a Steel Cage match, next week.
