A list of 5 independent wrestlers the WWE should take a long look at.

About a year ago, I wrote a piece about which independent wrestling stars the WWE should sign, which you can read here.  In that story, I broke down some names and resumes of some of the brightest, yet under the radar talent in the world.  Since then, two of the wrestlers named have performed for the WWE.  Zack Sabre Jr. was part of the Cruiserweight Classic that took place beginning last June, and made it all the way to the semi-finals.  And just this January, the WWE signed Heidi Lovelace and by March she was wrestling in NXT under the name, Ruby Riot.

It’s time to start looking around the globe again for the brightest independent stars that could one day be competing in a WWE ring.  This year’s list will include wrestlers hailing from 4 different countries and will spotlight talent that has already been noticed on a global scale.  The following five superstars have already garnered a ton of attention and fanfare and really just have one final step in their careers: a WWE contract.  For a couple of these workers, the WWE has already come calling, and hopefully, before next year’s version of this topic, we’ll see some of these faces in the company on a full-time basis.

Ahead we take a look at 5 Indie stars who the WWE should target.
