2. Jade

Back in September of last year, amidst the rumors that Impact Wrestling was on the verge of closing up shop, I wrote an article about which superstars the WWE should keep if they happened to be the buyers of the fledgling promotion. One of the five wrestlers picked was 27-year-old, Jade.  The California native, at that time, had only been in the company for just over three years but in that time had slowly but surely become one of the future, no-doubt superstars and one of the most entertaining workers in the Knockouts division.  She consistently went bell to bell with the likes of Gail Kim, Allysin Kay, and Madison Rayne among others and routinely looked like the best female on the roster.

But just this January, TNA, in what has been pretty much par for the course for the past five years, made a very silly mistake: they cut Jade loose.  You know, because Tyrus needed the air time.  Now the WWE no longer has to wait for the company to fold.  They have the chance to go out and snatch Jade up and immediately turn her into a big-time player.  She could, and probably would start in NXT but it wouldn’t take very long for her to take the next step because of her 3 years worth of performing for television.  Once on the main roster, she’d have absolutely no problem handling any of the talent currently residing there and has the potential to put on some incredible matches.

Jade, like Toni Storm, has all the attributes to be a star.  As mentioned before, she’s great in the ring, she has the looks, the charisma, and the attitude that could help her flourish.  Since leaving TNA 3 months ago, she’s only worked a dozen or so matches on the indie circuit so hopefully, she’s not losing her passion because she has so much left to give to the wrestling business. The WWE would be smart to be the ones to reap the benefits.
