5. Finn Balor

Balor returned from a shoulder injury a short time ago, but he could’ve competed for the Universal Championship shortly after WrestleMania. Imagine, for example, that Kevin Owens had never lost the Universal Championship, and defended it successfully against Jericho at WrestleMania 33.

On the following RAW, he had gloated about his victory, only to be confronted by a returning Balor. Then, new RAW GM Kurt Angle announces Owens vs. Balor for the Universal Championship as a RAW main event, which Balor then wins.

In doing so, you have a new, fresh match-up that will lead to something exciting for the RAW fans. Roman Reigns and Finn Balor have only wrestled once on TV, and it was a great match that had everyone watching on the edge of their seats.

By having Balor as Universal Champion, WWE could test to see if he could draw on the main shows just as much as he did in NXT (which is highly likely), while Reigns would have a new opponent to feud with. Even if Reigns were to be booed while facing Balor, that wouldn’t matter much as fans would tune in anyway to see if Balor could defeat Reigns clean once again.
