4. Bray Wyatt Defeats Randy Orton

It was recently announced that the ‘House of Horrors’ Match between Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt at Payback will not involve Randy’s WWE Championship. This is because Bray’s sudden drafting to RAW changed the WWE Championship picture, with Jinder Mahal becoming new #1 contender.

With WWE wanting to build Mahal up as a credible world title contender, they need to make sure his first world title match has an air of believability in it.

To do that, Bray Wyatt should win at Payback in the House of Horrors Match. By having Bray win, he’ll get some much-needed credibility of his own back following a devastating and disappointing loss at WrestleMania 33.

Meanwhile, Orton would look vulnerable in losing, which would suggest that Mahal has a fighting chance against the Viper at Backlash. This would lead to a more interesting WWE Championship match later on, and would help Bray look strong on the RAW brand once Payback concludes.
