To close WWE Raw, we had an incredible main event that the fans loved on Twitter.
At the 9:00 p.m. ET hour of Monday’s Raw, we had a segment with Seth Rollins, The Miz, Finn Balor and Dean Ambrose. This led to them wanting the WWE Universal Championship, until Ambrose declared his title as the best and called Kurt Angle to make a No. 1 Contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship.
So, in our main event, we had Balor vs. Rollins vs. Miz to determine who faces Ambrose next. Judging by what happened in the 20-plus minutes of action, it’s safe to say this match succeeded.
Balor, Rollins and Miz went all-out in this match, bringing out almost every move out of their respective arsenals. Drama came into play as well, with near-falls coming every so often when it seemed like the bout was going to be over.
We ended up getting Miz winning, which came after Samoa Joe interfered to take out Rollins, and Bray Wyatt attacking Balor. This let the A-lister pin the Demon King, something that led to an uproar from the fans in the arena and online:

An incredible match to close Raw, one the WWE Universe seems behind. It gave us a new No. 1 Contender to the Intercontinental Championship, which should lead to a feud that lasts throughout the month.
As for that, Ambrose vs. Miz seems like a decent bet for WWE Extreme Rules, which takes place in June, as a Raw-exclusive pay-per-view. They have faced off before, and even feuded throughout April, but we’re headed back this direction, again. Will it succeed?
With Balor and Rollins, they’re in for feuds with Wyatt and Joe, respectively. They should be part of the Extreme Rules card, too, making for solid depth for the show.
