After Jinder Mahal and Breezango have both seen unexpected pushes on SmackDown Live, it leaves us wondering who else will receive pushes up the card in the future.

Jinder Mahal managed to transform from glorified jobber to the number 1 contender for Randy Orton’s WWE Championship. Breezango, in similar fashion, went from an afterthought in the tag team division to the number 1 contenders for The Usos’ Tag Team Championships.

Fans have all been shocked by these outcomes, and they can take a positive or a negative spin on these sudden pushes. Fans can look at this as SmackDown Live capitalizing on its “Land of Opportunity” moniker as they provide pushes for underutilized talent.

On the opposite side of things, fans can see that the star power and main event level talent is scarce on SmackDown Live. So, the blue brand is trying to build new stars to fill the obvious gaps in each division.

No matter the reason, whether positive or negative, for these sudden pushes, we can expect plenty more to come in the following months.

Shinsuke Nakamura has already come up to the main roster, and he is clearly getting pushed as a main event caliber Superstar as he goes into his feud with Dolph Ziggler. Likewise, Tye Dillinger has been feeding off his incredible fan support in a slow push that has resulted in a couple of wins in a row on the main roster.

So, who will be the next Superstar to skyrocket into that main event role? What underutilized talent will be given a sudden shot at the United States Championship? Will these pushes go to deserving or undeserving Superstars?
