Dolph Ziggler vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

The King of Strong Style finally makes his in-ring main roster debut against Dolph Ziggler at Backlash. They’ve been setting this up for awhile, and it’ll be a good way to start Shinsuke Nakamura’s journey on the main roster. Ziggler has been known be a “gatekeeper” of sorts. He seems to always be the one to feud with NXT call-ups, including Tyler Breeze, Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin.

This will be a good way to get Nakamura over because Ziggler will do a great job selling all of his moves. Hopefully, they don’t do this match on a random episode of SmackDown Live and save it for the PPV.

Keeping Nakamura from in-ring action until Backlash may not be what we want but will pay off in the long run, when it comes to how he’s booked. Nakamura is one of the few that can be booked like Brock Lesnar but actually be a full time wrestler. If they continue treating Nakamura like the spectacle that he could become one of the biggest stars in WWE history.
