Patrick Clark Vignette

We get a vignette for the “Velveteen Experience,” which is former Tough Enough star Patrick Clark. It seems similar to what he’s shown on TV before, but maybe a push is going to follow it up?

Heavy Machinery vs. Ricardo Watts and Hector Kunsman

Result: Heavy Machinery defeated Ricardo Watts and Hector Kunsman via pinfall.

Kunsman and Watts sound like an obscure law firm, for some reason. They looked irrelevant in this match, too.

Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic, as expected, dominated these two wrestlers with ease. They wiped the floor clean with Watts and Kunsman, including Dozovic picking up both men at once, before he and Knight just pancaked them for the win.

Afterward, Heavy Machinery got on the microphone. Knight seemed more tamed, while Dozovic played off as the wild man. Knight called out the Authors of Pain, but could have done it without making a buffet reference. The former Arizona State star spoke well in his first opportunity, and clearly looks like he’ll be the talker of the two.

Before Knight and Dozovic jump into the title picture, they need to hold their own in a feud. We haven’t seen them go against any significant competition during this mini-push. Then again, now that the Revival have moved up, all that remains in the heel part of the NXT Tag Team Division is AoP. So, the path is wide open for this rising duo.

DIY Interview

Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano talked about Heavy Machinery’s comments, and bring up that they’re owed a one-on-one title rematch with the Authors of Pain. Ciampa says the line starts behind DIY. I smell a match announcement coming soon.
