4. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins – SummerSlam 2015

This match was one of many great John Cena matches during the spring and summer of 2015. In this fantastic Championship vs. Championship, Cena and Seth Rollins showed off exactly why both of them were at the top of the card.

The back and forth action between Cena and Rollins was a thing of beauty. It told a great story as Rollins dominated the early portion of the match with his superior technical ability and constant reversals of Cena’s signature moves.

But Cena was not to be outdone, and pulled out some rarely-seen moves to show that, contrary to the audience’s chants, he could, in fact, wrestle. By the 13-minute mark, both Cena and Rollins went into full ‘reverse-the-other-guy’s-finisher’ mode, which kept the audience on the edge of their seats.

Within the next 4-5 minutes, the audience were chanting both guys equally, as they were in love with this match, and rightfully so.

This match proved to the world that Rollins was more than capable of carrying WWE. He managed to out-wrestle Cena, and even managed to get a better reaction than Cena. Even though the match’s finish was controversial, both Cena and Rollins ended up looking great after it had ended.

All in all, one of the best matches in Cena’s career, and highly recommended.
