WWE Extreme Rules 2017: 3 Potential Opponents for Roman Reigns

3. The Miz

The Miz faces Dean Ambrose for the IC Title next week on Raw, he already has a feud however if he wins back the title, a new opponent would be on the cards. Roman Reigns would be a great opponent, The Miz could be one of the only people on the roster who could get the crowd to actually cheer for Roman. He managed to turn things around when he was feuding with John Cena, and while Cena did get booed they ultimately did end up supporting him.

Even if The Miz does not win back the IC Title, Roman could be placed into the ongoing feud between The Miz and Dean Ambrose. It could help Roman to be seen with his former Shield teammate and against The Miz it would give them reason to do some great promo’s and have a Triple Threat Match at WWE Extreme Rules.

Roman Reigns needs a solid feud moving forward, and the IC Title picture could provide that. The Miz can work his magic, and it would be a good way to really test the waters in getting the crowd to start accepting Roman.
