Wednesday’s episode of WWE NXT took place at Full Sail University in Florida and was taped on April 19th. With NXT TakeOver: Chicago just ten days away, this episode helped to fill out the card and build up feuds for the big event.
The last episode was built around a battle royal to decide the #1 contender for Asuka’s belt, and this led to an announcement that Asuka will take on Ruby Riot, Nikki Cross, and Ember Moon at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. With the reports of Ember Moon being injured, how will the competitors react to their now triple threat match?
Bobby Roode will have to defend his title at NXT TakeOver: Chicago, but who came out victorious in the #1 contender’s match between Roderick Strong and Hideo Itami?
