WWE Backlash 2017: 5 Bold Predictions

With WWE Backlash’s match card made up of bold decisions that no one could predict, such as Breezango and Jinder Mahal contending for titles, bold predictions now seem like the only logical ones.

WWE Backlash is just around the corner, and as the card continues to fill up, the more intriguing the matchups become.

The bold decision was made to draw out the feud between Dolph Ziggler and Shinsuke Nakamura and Nakamura’s debut. It has everyone dying to see Nakamura in the ring, but what will happen when “The Artist” meets “The Showoff” at Backlash?

Another bold move was to form a faction in the women’s division ever since the horrid PCB, Team B.A.D., andTeam Bella times with The Welcoming Committee. How will things play out when they take on Charlotte, Naomi, and Becky Lynch, and more importantly, what role will James Ellsworth play in all this.

More bold decisions were made to have Breezango and Jinder Mahal become No. 1 contenders. While Breezango has opened up The Fashion Files, Mahal has managed to pick up pins on Sami Zayn, Randy Orton and AJ Styles. Will their momentum continue at Backlash?

Let’s not forget that two of SmackDown Live‘s top stars will be competing against each other for…the United States Championship? That’s right, Kevin Owens and Styles will be facing off in hopes of walking out with a secondary title. Now that is a bold move.
