Welcome to the Raw Division Power Rankings from Newark, New Jersey.

These are the power rankings for each division on Monday Night RAW for this following week. Each division would be ranked based on storyline progression and win/loss record as of 2017. Also each division would be divided by contenders and pretenders, to differentiate the challengers in their respective division. I’ll also highlight a specific superstar in each division and explain their ranking based on their actions. Win/Loss record is provided by CageMatch.Net.

Each superstar or tag team can move up or down the rankings based on victory, defeat or storyline progression. Let’s see how the rankings shape up this week.

The RAW Cruiserweight Division

Highlights of the Division

So it was confirmed on RAW that Austin Aries will get one more crack at the Cruiserweight Championship in a few week at Extreme Rules. In order for the division to thrive from the predictable trajectory it’s been headed since WrestleMania, Aries must defeat Neville at the upcoming pay per view.

The story between Neville, Aries, TJP and Jack Gallagher has been repetitive for weeks with no ending on sight. TJ hasn’t gotten his title shot from Neville but has faced either Aries or Gallagher consistently since Payback. His wins have been impressive but it hasn’t moved the needle in the overall rankings.

Noam Dar has been on a nice little run in the past few weeks scoring victories over top contenders like Rich Swann and just recently on 205 Live: Gran Metalik. It won’t negate the amount of losses he’s accumulated over the past few months. He’ll need to go on a serious win streak to be truly considered an elite contender in the division.

The return of Cedric Alexander and the street fight between Kendrick and Tozawa next week should be considered strong indicators on how the division will shape up in the near future. All three men will need to prove their worth as future viable challengers to either both Neville or Aries after Extreme Rules concludes.

These are the rankings for the division this week.
